4th Street Italian Beef

A co-worker of mine was talking about a place to get an original Chicago Italian Beef in Des Moines. On 4th Street just North of Court Avenue there is such a place. 4th Street Italian Beef seats about 6 and with 2 things on the menu it is bound to be fast and delish. The Italian Beef is served in a Italian Hoagie and dunked in gravy (Au jus). Then it topped with Giardiniera which is a mix of chopped green olives, bell pepper, hot peppers, celery, and oil/vinegar.   Very good and juicy!
