Not sure if this would replace my regular chicken and vegetable burrito, but I give Panchero an A for effort. I suggest more meat and taziki sauce. It is tasty.

Urbandale Store #9925

We have been without hot water for a few days. Replacement parts arrived to repair the hot water heater. I must goto work.

I have not had a blue plate special in quite awhile. This simple plate of comfort food features a roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes smothered in beef gravey. A masterpiece served by the Urbandale Cafe.

Sam my son and I visited Papa Chubby's in Ankeny for Ribs. I ordered a full slab of ribs with Fries and Cheesey Potatoes.  I want to say it was priced at $16.99. We both loved the ribs- they were sticky good. They must smother the ribs in brown sugar and spicies. My son said they are the best ribs yet!  The only disappointment was that kids menu/section did not have any barbecue on it so I incurred a split plate charge of $4.30 when we split the meal. Which was a bit odd.

I ate into today with a Free Burrito card. I added queso and chips.

Today's lunch is sushi from Target. Priced from $4-$10 there typically is a nice selection. The quality is in the middle compared to some of the Sushi places in Des Moines.

I traveled to Bandit Burrito which is north of I-35/80 on Merle Hay Road in Johnston. They have a nice simple menu with a of tasty options. I chose to build my own burrito with rice, black beans, chicken, vegetables, cheese, homemade salsa, cilantro, green onion, and sour cream. The cost after tax was $6.57. Not a bad lunch.
