Met up with my Foodie friend Nelson from Austin, TX with www.ShowMeYourTaco.com. We tagged several places including Tasty Tacos, The Royal Mile, and then Fongs Pizza. The Asian inspired pizza was their specialty. I tried the Happy Family which included chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, green onions, and cheese. It was a hit.

My wife and I stopped in to try Black Market Pizza in Ankeny. They serve more than just pizza at this place from various sandwiches, salads, and ribs. There is about 20 tables so hitting off times is a good idea. They had 1 server last night so service was a bit slow. Deep dish pizza could take 40+ minutes. They do have a thin crust pizza- which is what we tried. The crust was good and I recommend that if you are pressed for time.

Today's lunch is couple slices of pepperoni pizza from Nana's in Urbandale. $3 for a large slice.

Do you like thin crust pizza?
