When we go camping, a morning tradition is to have cinnamon rolls for breakfast. I have tried many brands and have found that Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls in the can work the best. Don't try the jumbo as they take to long. There is a method to process that seems to work best.
I use a cookie sheet wrapped in tinfoil that is turned upside down to create a barrier. The tinfoil also helps keep the cleanup to a minimum.
I begin by preheating the Weber Q to about 300 degrees with the upside down wrapped cookie sheet.
I spray with a little vegetable cooking spray. I am able to get 20 on the upside on a 11x17 down sheet.
Manage your temperature and keep it as close to 300-350 degrees. Watch the bottom of the rolls so you don't burn them.
As they brown you can always flip them or move them around.
My kids love dipping them in frosting, so the mini cans of 5 work great.
Give them a try next time you go camping and start your own tradition.
