Better than pot roast, smoked BBQ Tri-tip Beef Brisket goes great on a bun with a little sweet barbecue sauce. The secret to good beef brisket is this- you must cook it to a internal temperature of 200 degrees. So cook it slow and low for 8-10 hours at 200 degrees. You may also cook at 300 degrees for 3 hours. If you have the luxury of some kind of smoker you can smoke the meat for 2-3 hours at about 120 degrees prior. Remove the meat and double wrap in a heavy aluminum foil for the suggested times above. Let me know if you have any suggestions or comments.
My friend Jack and I stopped by Woody's Smoke Shack for good barbecue. Jack had not been to Woodys before and wanted him to try the ribs. I went with the choice of 3 meats and 3 sides. This included ribs, chicken, and brisket. My sides included a double side of cheesy potatoes and beans. Good stuff.
